Planning a Short AI Video from a Still Image

Start with one strong image and a simple plan. These four steps help you keep the clip focused and easier to evaluate.

1. Choose a clear subject

Use a sharp still image with one obvious focal point. Avoid clutter, cropped faces, and hard-to-read details. Decide what should remain unchanged, such as the subject’s face, clothing, or background.

2. Describe one camera motion

Choose a slow push-in, a gentle pan, or a subtle pull-back—not all three. Be specific: “Slowly push toward the subject while keeping the face centered and the background stable.”

3. Keep timing short

Start with about 3–5 seconds, if the tool supports it. Give the clip one action and a clear ending. Test a short version before spending time on longer sequences.

4. Review visual consistency

Watch the full clip, then compare the first and last frames. Check faces, hands, object shapes, lighting, and background details for drift or flicker. If something changes unexpectedly, simplify the motion and revise one instruction at a time.
